How to eliminate sugar from your diet

 Because, your addiction to sugar is harmful for every diet you want to follow. So, below are five steps plans that will help you to get rid of sugar addiction and also to follow a healthy diet to accomplish your goal and lose some weight.

Phase 1: eliminate sugary beverages

Time: 1 to 2 weeks

If you are a big fan of sugary beverages you should give up on them because they are not a part of your new way of eating.  Just make a list of all sugar beverages you drink and try to substitute them.

Phase 2: Eliminate Junk Foods

Time: 2 to 3 weeks

Is important to identify the source that feeds your addiction.  You have to cut cookies, sweet chips, candy bars even ice cream.  That junk food has no place in your diet and you should get rid of them immediately.  The best way to cutting out junk food is replacing them with healthy alternatives.

Phase 3: Drastically reduce carbs

Time: 3 to 4 weeks

This is the time to get rid of bread, pasta, rice and so on.  Instead of having a toast for your breakfast, you can opt for some eggs or even for a fruit.

Phase 4: Reduce hidden sugars

Time: 1 to 2 weeks

Dressing, sauces and even some condiments are a hidden source of sugar. Try to find those who may contain any amount of sugar and do not use them in your daily diet.

Phase 5: Maintain your new way of eating

Time: for the rest of your life

You just discovered a new way of eating, you have given up sugar.  If you really want to keep your weight under control, you should be patient with yourself.  Invest the time you need, it will be worth it!
